An India-Pakistan cricket match — a cherished event in countless households across both countries. But a full-scale war between the two - not exactly a fan of that. While the conflict has deep roots, the current escalation, though unsurprising given our neighbor’s provocations and our evolving approach to counter-terrorism, is something we had hoped would never come to pass. India's response to the brutal, cowardice and horrifying Pahalgam terror attack through Operation Sindoor marked a decisive shift. Yet Pakistan’s reaction, which seems like open aggression, dangerously flirts with what could be termed an act of war. Burnout to Breakthrough

No, we don’t know each other - not yet! But that’s about to change if you’ve stumbled upon this petite word castle of mine. I’ve been laying the foundation pebble by pebble, all within a quiet recess of my mind.


Courage gathered, doubts parked - I’m here, ready to blog. I am embarking on this journey not as a subject matter expert but as a nomadic thinker. At the heart of this blog is a simple reason—and I’d love to begin by telling you about it. Technically, I'm a 9-to-6 professional. Realistically? It more feels like a 9-to-10, and yet the feeling of purpose is often nowhere to be found. After navigating the corporate labyrinth for years, I mustered the candor to begin my quest and find what truly defines me. To cease hiding behind the curtains and embrace the discomfort that leads to growth.


Writing has been a part of me since childhood—spinning fantasy tales, scribbling journal entries, only to hurriedly tear them up the moment a family member came too close to discovering them. The reason was simple—fear. A quiet dread that someone might glimpse the thoughts behind my still expression, might learn what truly stirred within me. 


These days, I live like any adult does—autonomously. And yet, a sense of stagnation lingers, like something trapped with no way out. That made me ponder - my younger self did not manifest the empowerment that comes through the liberation of words. Neither did she know of the energy and synergy you feel connecting with like minded people.


Once I started writing, I could feel the emptiness easing up. I imagine it’s how a startup feels after landing their first sale - some joy, some relief, and a whole lot of motivation to keep at it. So here I go forward, one blog at a time. Not chasing extravagance - just seeking meaning, one word at a time.

I often ponder whether it has always been in human nature to collect a souvenir from all the places they visit in their lifetime. Like a memory to treasure, like a story to narrate, like a tradition to uphold, like a culture to reminisce. I too was wandering the narrow lanes around the Western Temples in Khajuraho searching for one such keepsake. In this little town, I found small shops with postcards carrying elaborate pictures showcasing the grandeur of the temple architecture - the millenia old stones carved with perfection into deities, apsaras, animals and ornate designs with hand made finesse. Among other things were brass figurines, windchimes adorned with little bells and tribal art & craft pieces glorifying their ancestry.
